Maternity Photoshoot Dress Help Needed!

February 5, 2018 by Ashley

We’ve hired the amazing Becca Sue Photography (an expecting mama herself!) to take our maternity photos next month – yay! Becca took the photos for our announcement and I could not be more pleased with how those turned out, despite how I felt that day.

C and I decided to go a little glam with this shoot since we’re going to do a more casual lifestyle shoot in our house once we bring baby girl home. And, I think secretly he wants an excuse to wear his new suit…

So, his wardrobe is all selected (a gorgeous deep blue custom suit from Knot Standard – if your guy goes into the Dallas location, ask for Jamie; she’s the best!).   Now it’s just on me to pick a dress and I. Am. So. Torn.

Here’s some of the inspiration for our photos.

I went through the ASOS site because I’ve had SO much luck with their clothes lately and picked a few favorites from their maternity line and a few from the regular line with some stretch.  Call me crazy, but I’ve had decent luck with “regular” gowns still fitting so long as they have a lot of elastic haha.

Maternity exclusive is very pretty and traditional she will be born around easter so I think the ivory blush with the navy suit he’s wearing would be amazing and classy you can’t go wrong whatever you choose

I am loving #2! It’s just the right amount of glamour, still classy and trendy too. It’s so pretty! I also like the classic look of #6. All are pretty and I can’t wait to see the final pictures!
