Gingerbread Protein Milkshake

November 21, 2016 by Ashley

Gingerbread Protein Milkshake

Nothing says “Happy Holidays” quite like a gingerbread cookie and sugary treats. IIFYM doesn’t mean sacrificing my holiday favorites.  I see it more as a challenge:  Find a way to cut the sugar and fat in my holiday favorites while upping the protein so I can fit in these treats without having to eat not egg whites the rest of the day.

Gingerbread Protein Milkshake

This gingerbread protein milkshake fits the bill.  Arctic Zero enables me to have all of that ice cream creaminess without a massive dose of sugar, while the protein gives me more nutrition and makes the whole shake more filling.  The ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg meld perfectly with the snickerdoodle ice cream and vanilla flavors from the protein.  Rim the glasses with a little ground gingerbread cookies and you’ve got holiday cheer in a glass!
