The Best Nursery Options

July 1, 2019 by Ashley

When we first started looking for a crib for E’s room, I immediately hopped on some of my favorite furniture sites to start shopping, knowing that was a risky move. Inevitably I’d fall in love with nursery furniture that was way outside of our price range – and I did. It was the perfect iron crib with white bedding that would match our French-industrial style.

Thankfully for my nursery budget (and C’s sanity), I found an almost identical crib online for a fraction of the price. She’s been in the crib almost a year now and I’m still in love.

So, for you new moms, wishful moms, or moms-to-be, today we’re rounding up the best designer-inspired cribs for the nursery that won’t break the bank.

The iron crib

There are so many great alternatives to the classic iron crib. This gold look alike is on trend right now and perfect for a glam girl’s room – and less than half the price of some designer options.

Worried about an iron crib? We use this mesh bumper with E to keep her from popping her leg through the bars.

The tufted crib

If you’re going for a more classic European-style nursery, this tufted bed is a must. Some versions runs $1,599 plus delivery, while this look alike is only $599. That’s almost 1/3 the price!

The wood conversion crib

This gorgeous French-style bed converts down to a toddler bed. One popular option online will set you back more than $1,300 plus shipping, or you can order this version with free shipping for $699. Yes, the price is still a little high, but this option converts all the way to a full size bed giving you years of use!

The canopy crib

What’s not to love about this crib with stunning canopy? It’s playful, yet simple and refine. Pick up a nearly identical style for only $300, or the designer version for $1,199.

The arched panel crib

One of our favorite stores sells an arched panel crib for $1,299 (wow!). We found a similar look from Wayfair for only $180 – and the Wayfair version is convertible, too!
